Vote Green on Tuesday!

This Tuesday, February 2 is the Primary Election for all offices to be elected in November. Unless you've already early voted, don't forget to vote on Tuesday, and to request the Green Party ballot when you vote!

The media often evaluates a party's strength by looking at the number of primary voters. It is extremely important that Greens request the Green ballot as a show of support for our slate of statewide candidates. The more voters, the stronger the party appears, which can help candidates receive favorable press coverage throughout this year

If you go to vote and have difficulty at the polling place - especially if you are for whatever reason denied a Green Party ballot, or if you are offered other ballots but not a Green Party ballot - please let us know. Email election-problems@ilgp.org with as much information as you can, especially your precinct and the time of day that you went to vote. There were numerous voting irregularities at the 2008 primary and we anticipate more of the same this year.

After polls close at 7:00, please come out and celebrate with the Greens!
